Here is another interview, this time with Cheryl, where we are once again promised new music from Salt N Pepa in the very near future.

Here is the transcript of a phone interview with Sandy. Mostly she talks about her new show on VH1, but she also says a few words about the new album, and indicates that it is almost finished. Yay! Click here to read it!

Hey guys! The Good Vibrations Festival is coming right up, and you can win a VIP pass! I won’t be in Australia any time soon, so I didn’t really examine this information closely, so I’m not sure what a VIP pass gets you, but it sure sounds good! Click here for information on how to enter.

As far as food goes! I came across this video from Pepa’s new show Let’s Talk About Pep. The show premiers on Monday on VH1 so be sure and check it out! This clip is 21 minutes long. This is billed on the website as a “sneak premiere” but it plays more like a pre-game rundown. I hope the guys we see in this preview aren’t the only guys Sandy has to choose from. Can I get a D? O? U? C? H? E? BAG!!!!!!! “I’m 40 years old, but I think I’m still smooth and still got game like I’m eighteen…” Brotha, please… I’m going to reserve my comments regarding Sandy’s lady friends until I see a bit more. I don’t want to be judgmental. Check it out and try to enjoy.

Let’s Talk About Pep

VH1 has released a 4 minute trailer for Pep’s upcoming show, Let’s Talk About Pep, which premiers at 10:30 Eastern time on January 11. Haha, after watching the trailer, I’m a little curious to see how Cheryl feels about the show. It looks like it is going to be a bit racier than what she’s up for these days! At any rate, you can view the trailer here.

Although I have not read about the girls being officially “on tour,” they sure are putting on an awful lot of shows. I added another one to the event schedule. It is another installment (in addition to the show in STL) of the Fresh Fest which features of course SNP as well as Slick Rick, Doug E Fresh, Biz Markie, and Whodini. The show is in Atlanta, GA on March 5. I will continue to add events to the schedule as I become aware of them, so check back often. Perhaps Fresh Fest will make its way to your area!

Salt N Pepa will be putting on a show with Slick Rick, Biz Markie, Doug E Fresh and other hip hop greats in St. Louis at the Chaifets Arena on February 6th!  Damn that is an awesome lineup and it is sure to be amazing. Here is a link to the article. Check it out. It is sure to be amazing!

According to Sandy, via her Facebook status, her new VH1 reality show premiers on January 11th!  In this announcement, she refers to the show as “Let’s Talk About Pep” even though she has previously indicated that the show will be called “Pep in the City” and Janet and I believe it should be called “Pep Talk”.  I guess they abandoned the “Pep in the City” idea and decided to stick with “Let’s Talk About Pep”.  She did not say what time the show airs on January 11, but did say that it’s going to be hot!
